Biography

Nandu Gopan is a Lecturer in the Chair of Scientific Computing for Systems Biology at the Technische Universität Dresden where he teaches in the interdisciplinary international Masters program “Computational Modeling and Simulation”. He is also a Post Doctoral Researcher in the Sbalzarini Lab (MOSAIC Group) at the Center for Systems Biology Dresden. He was previously an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore Campus. Prior to that, he was a Science and Engineering Reseach Board (SERB) National Post Doctoral Fellow (NPDF) in the Granular Lab, under the mentorship of Prof. Meheboob Alam at the Engineering Mechanics Unit at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR). He received his PhD from NITC in 2014, working with Prof. Sarith P. Sathian.
